Olivers Lighting have been manufacturing our switches for over 30 years and in that time have established themselves as the market leader of reproduction period light switches and electrical accessories. All Olivers products conform to British and European standards. It is the policy of the company to improve products as part of our development programme, therefore we reserve the right to alter designs and dimensions without prior notice. Due to the manufacturing process we cannont guarantee an exact colour match and shading of certain finishes.
Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store using the menu, choose your own specific colour choice, add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart using the "Add to Cart" button. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED
Olivers accept Visa, Maestro, and Mastercard, or you can pay via Paypal.

WHEN DO WE TAKE PAYMENT
Your card will be debited prior to your order being assembled.
You will receive a confirmation of your order, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
Small orders up to approximately £100.00 in the UK are sent by Royal Mail (over £100 they are sent 'signed for'), Larger orders containing several items, or orders for wall lighting are sent via Parcelforce.
All UK orders up to £100.00 are charged £5.95 for postage and packing.
All UK orders between £100.00 and £300.00 are charged £9.50 for postage and packing.
All UK orders over £300.00 are charged £12.50 for postage and packing.

Small orders are usually assembled and dispatched between 1 to 10 working days, larger orders can take up to 15 working days.

For orders made from the UK or Europe, 20% VAT is added.
Credit Card Security
All credit card transactions are handled by Sage Pay (formerly PROTX). All transaction information passed between Olivers and Sage Pay is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that no information passed to the Sage Pay servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
You may find your transaction requires you to set up 3D secure details. This is very important for the security of your credit and debit card on the internet and should be set up at your earliest convenience. You may have already done so when shopping online previously or you may be prompted to do so during the course of your transaction with Olivers Lighting.
Olivers Lighting do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
Before returning an order for refund, please inform Olivers in writing (email/letter) stating the reason why the goods are being returned.
In the event that you are not happy with your purchase or change your mind. A refund may be issued if the goods are returned in an unused resaleable condition within 14 days of the invoice date.
Olivers products are manufactured and assembled to order. For this reason unwanted or cancelled orders are subject to a 15% restocking fee: postage costs are not refundable
We strive to provide the very best products and services to our customers. However, if any component is defective within 12 months of purchase we will provide a replacement.
Please note: Faulty goods will be replaced free of charge when the faulty item has been returned and checked.
We cannot accept reponsibility for faults developing as a result of incorrect or inappropriate fitting/use nor can we accept responsibility for issues which arise from installation in adverse environments.
This also applied to new installations where wallcoverings are not sufficiently cured.
